I am productivity halted...briefly...or longer...

IMG_4221
So yes, here are the pics from my b-day this past weekend. And as you can probably tell, I'm a good 4 or 5 drinks invested at this point. From what I hear, it was a grand 'ol time :)

A happy b-day shoutout to my buddy Mina! Happy b-day bud! Hope your 32nd is an awesome one w/ your fiance and folks!

Of priorities and the totem pole...
I think it's rather amusing when one finds out exactly where he/she is on someone's priority ladder in their left...and it can show itself in the most peculiar ways. It could be a regular run of the mill type conversation or it could be determined simply through a general question. And it's not until hours, days, weeks, or even much later that you think back and have that Homer Simpson moment and quietly say to yourself, "D'oh!" Although, when we reflect on it for a minute...or more in some cases(=p), it's shouldn't be so much a "d'oh" moment as it should be a moment where we say say, "aaaahhh....okay!" And there's nothing wrong w/ prioritizing one thing over another, nothing at all. For me, it's God > Family = gf > Friends > Me > Basketball > Job > etc(I haven't drawn out the entire heirarchy just yet, and I'm sure there are things that will move around)....and it's fine if someone else has their own arrangement. Nothing personal, just like it shouldn't be personal to anyone else when they find out exactly what your priorities are. They're vary from individual to individual, which is what makes us different from one another.

Note to self: Leftover salad from Monday is probably not gonna be good on Thursday...though it was edible, I think my stomach doth begin to protest... =/ hopefully this cast-iron stomach(internally) that I talk about is for real... eek!

I am the attempt to get back on the wagon...

Wow. I wonder if anyone even checks this anymore. It's like opening the cover of an old old album that's been sitting on your shelf for a few months or even years. Oh well, let me blow the dust off....

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and even a Happy B-day to me! The last time I posted, it was a different year, and I was 31...now it's 2010, and I'm 32 and 3 days...time sure does fly! Well, in my posting absence, a lot has definitely happened...another holiday has come and gone, and the rains...oh the rains. It was a welcome sight...and after 4 straight storms pounded Socal for upwards of about a week, we are still in a rain deficit over the past few years...amazing, isn't it?

Well, here's the first post of the year...albeit a short one. More to come soon...here are some topics comin...
-those that come and go
-of death and dying
-priorities of life
